Meet Big Rome the South Carolina native now residing in Atlanta Georgia the music capital of the south. Big Rome is everything southern from the food to the music and culture. He has live in South Carolina, West Palm Beach Florida and now resides in Atlanta.
Embracing the culture of hip hop and the southern style of music Big Rome ( A.K.A., Jerome Matthews ) has once again overcome the trials and tribulations of his past. After his journey led him to a proposed deal with Slip and Slide Records ( Trick Daddy’s Label ) because of mutual concerns in 2006 he declined. He decided that remaining independent was his best option for success.
In 2007, he released ‘South Side’ that received a fair share of airplay in Palm Beach during the summer. The track was featured not only on internet radio but all of the popular local radio stations. At, that point Big Rome knew had the formula to make a defined impact in the music industry.

The question Big Rome asked himself after having a successful single and several songs on mixtapes was “ What’s Next “ and with the desire to move to the next level in his career as an independent artist. He went to the people he trusted most as far his music career like Triple J (A.K.A. Bumpy Johnson) former DefJam Recording artist. Taking the knowledge he learned from Triple J about what to do and what not to do in the music industry. Let him focus on his music and gave him direction as a whole new way.

The driving force for Big Rome in 2012 has been completing his new album which will be released in late 2012.
Hearing this album for first time will bring you back to reality of true rap music. Big Rome has moved beyond the street creditability type music. The All Black Affair has16 hitting tracks on the major level featuring major artist like Triple J, Swagga Bob and Kasual to name a few. There are songs for all listening taste on this album. Whether, you are chilling at home barbecuing or getting ready to tear it up at the club. This is the album will hit the spot every time….
