Emerged out of Oakland CA , bringing a unique music style without barriers, derived from the roots of Rock, Funk, R & B, Blues and Soul by taking risks stepping out of the box with their own organic creation of Music. AmaEvolution has been compared to bands like Skunk and Ananse, living color and Betty Davis among others. AmaEvolution is a sonic wall of sound designed to combine styles and genres old school new school and the talent to interpret people’s feelings by expressing themselves musically. Ama Evolution is Breaking through and taking over the Bay Area, one Show at a Time with Berkeley native Nadiyah Lewis on vocals, daughter of international violinist Tarika Lewis, Sergio de Paula Lima, guitarist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, John Adam the III on drums and Kenny D James on the Bass. AmAEvolutioN uses their raw rhythmic arrangements and deep hooks as tools introducing a ear to social change and community activism.
