A3C has announced its 2019 lineup. This year the Atlanta, Georgia festival is running for six days and features a host of artists from across the generations of Hip-Hop.
Topping the bill of legends we have Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), who will be putting on a 20th-anniversary Black On Both Sides retrospective at Masquerade. Earlier this week, Bey announced an October homecoming show in Brooklyn also honoring his 1999 Rawkus Records solo debut.

Additionally, there will be performances from several artists with legendary careers dating back to the 1980s. Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, E-40, and DJ Quik are among festival headliners. Quik will appear as part of a “West Coast Tribute Show,” featuring fellow Compton representatives Buddy and Boogie, as well as G Perico and SOB X RBE. Meanwhile, Rakim will perform at the same time he is promoting his memoir, Sweat The Technique, which will be published before the event. Earlier this year, 40 Water released Practice Makes Paper in July, while Boogie released his first LP with Eminem’s Shady Records, Everythings For Sale.
