Winstrong, the Reggae Artist from Suriname, making a name for himself in Northern California and around the world, releases his music video about the need to survive and put down the gun in the rough climates of the ghettos of the world. Special thanks to Actor Don Cali4nia Fuzzaracci who portrays the role of the ghetto hood, "walkin round town with a ratchet in his pocket" and to the Ethiopian Market on 39th and Telegraph in Oakland for providing the location. Watch for the 'Talkin' Roots' DVD packed with more behind the scenes shots, interviews and the improptu party that followed the shoot. This video is dedicated to the life of Lucky Dube and the many other mighty messengers that have died by violence, cut down in their prime. Unity, Peace and Freedom is the way!
