After premiering in 65 cities across the globe yesterday Red Bull Music Academy‘s feature length doc, What Difference Does It Make?, hits the Interwebz in full. Shot at RBMA in NYC this past spring, the Ralf Schmerberg-directed/Mind Pirates-produced film features the likes of Brian Eno, Thundercat, Rakim, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Bernie Worrell, Egyptian Lover, Steve Arrington, Tom Moulton as well as Academy participants discussing the ups and downs of the creative process of making music. Despite all the star power collected herein the film’s most poignant moment may in fact belong to street singer Leroy Webb, whose heartfelt impromptu performance in the West 4th Street subway station is something pretty special. Stream below or hit up RBMA15.com to DL.
