Who knew rap would take it this far?

20-year old Harvard graduate, Obasi Shaw joins us on Sway in the Morning on our special edition of the Friday Fire Cypher.

But first, here's Obasi's story.

As an English Major, this youngin' was stuck on how to creatively submit his final thesis. After his mother's suggestion, Shaw merged his recent love of hip-hop with his love of writing and created a rap album, entitled "Liminal Minds." A rap album that not only picked up steam on major publications, but also received a prestigious A-grade!
