Almost three months after Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) struck, much of Leyte and Samar still lie in ruins. People are homeless, hungry, and without livelihood. Last January 25, around 12,000 storm survivors descended from remote villages and coastal towns to stage a protest march around Tacloban City, united in anger at the Aquino government's negligence and 'anti-people' policies that show lack of genuine relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction. www.pinoyweekly.org
