ABOUT

Lucius R. is a prolific, multi-genre solo singer and songwriter who has been successfully making music for over 25 years. A multi-faceted singer, songwriter, and record producer, Lucius R. is also excellent at instrumentation and plays the drums brilliantly.

The dynamic artist grew up in the church playing for church choirs in several cities spread across the United States. He has also toured with several bands around the world, displaying his masterful musical prowess. Lucius R.’s inspiration for becoming a singer was growing up listening to Jeffrey Osborne, Michael Jackson, and Elvis Presley- 3 singers who immensely inspired him to become the singer he is today.

At the age of 16, the artist began playing as a drummer in a local band called Zequilis, based out of Gastonia, North Carolina. The artist was incredibly moved by the lead singer of that band, Mike Werts, and has, ever since, continued to perform and compose in various capacities.
