Reggae Reinvented with a Unique Style and Refreshing Twist – Upking Music’s S. Coop Drops New Music

A rebellious spirit driven for success in the music world, S. Coop is creating his own lane with his bold, uplifting, and unconventional rhythms

Brooklyn, NY —September 20th, 2022 – Revitalizing Dancehall and Reggae with his distinctive style and character, singer-songwriter S. Coop is capturing audiences with his new music. From his hip single “Lead,” which dropped on July 8th, 2022, to “Sheep Dem,” unveiled on August 26th, 2022, S. Coop has continued to excel.

Independently written by S. Coop and produced by GEKKO, both tracks have already amassed positive reviews and feedback, with listeners appreciating the distinct lyrical flow and arrangement of the artist. Thrilling, entertaining, and melodic, S. Coop’s tracks “Lead” and “Sheep Dem” stand out from other offerings in Reggae, underscored by the artist’s rich artistic choices.

However, S. Coop’s music is not just about catchy rhythms but also a blend of top-tier, quality songwriting and lyricism, which is bound to captivate all. Consistently upping the ante, S. Coop hopes to continue evolving and adapting.

Taking on traditional Reggae and Dancehall music with his compelling, experimental style and unique branding, S. Coop remains inspired and motivated by the likes of Damion Marley, Chronixx, and Shaggy, as well as Vybes Kartel- whom he considers the greatest dancehall lyricist.

Passionate about writing and driven to make a change with his music, S. Coop remains engrossed in creating art using his independent label, “UpKing Music.” Presenting meaningful and captivating stories and messages with his music, S. Coop remains hopeful about his future, despite the arduous uphill climb in the music industry.

“I am confident that if I remain resolute, I will overcome the mountain. I have no intention of slowing down at this time so stay tuned!” says the artist regarding his music and future.

S. Coop’s music can be purchased, downloaded, or streamed on the artist’s official music platforms! Follow him on social media to keep track of news and happenings and for any queries regarding interviews, reviews, and/or collaborations, reach out through email.

ABOUT

Hailing from Jamaica, music was always S. Coop’s first love and interest. The artist first dabbled a little in Hip Hop and Rap when he was introduced to the genre by his schoolmates. However, he soon discovered that it was Reggae and Dancehall which were his thing. Spinning instrumental records and chanting on the mic every Friday or Saturday, S. Coop honed his skills and curated several musical records.

After a brief hiatus from music, S. Coop met with one of his longtime friends and decided to get back in the game. A lover of poetry, he began his label, “UpKing Music’ and during the peak of COVID-19, bought a music production program, taught himself the basics, and began songwriting. Beginning with his first track, “Cover Up,” the artist’s music has continually grown, and he has dropped several singles including “Original,” “S. Coop,” “UpKing,” and most recently, “Lead” and “Sheep Dem.”
