Born August 6, 1987 in Frankfurt Germany, moved to Killeen, Texas at age 3. Brandon James Mitchell Started rapping at age 10, writing since age 11. The group would enjoy moderate buzz, getting over a million plays on myspace, releasing a plethera of mixtapes and songs. However Purpose was awaiting departure from the military, and DBE would disperse as a group. Purpose with long time friend Steven Harris would then create the TEAM, also adding Big P, and Oak Capone to the roster. The foursome would then release a few mixtapes that including most recent T.E.A.M, with over 5000 views on datpiff. Purpose with T.E.A.M Lafamilia music group in tact. Plans to release his first solo mixtape in 10 years Passports and Comma’s as well as a collaboration album with Johnny Ruffin entitled M.A.C.K..As a TEAM, Purpose has opened up for legends such as Three 6 Mafia, Bun B, Scarface, B-Real, SlipKnot, has done tons of shows all over the city. With the work ethic at an all time high, Purpose The Musician is sure to become a household name in the near future.
