This mixtape is the sequel to the 2010 "the difference" mixtape. Recorded three years ago, and slated to be released shortly after the first one but artistic vision for the sequel changed several times. The Inevitable is a great collection of songs which displays Shell Sluggers versatile ability and verbal capability. Slugger finesses the track with a seasoned flow which one may argue is rivaled only by the industry elites. With opening lines such as "call me slugger the phantom/ Flow like dope from Copacabana/ go bananas at the pop of a shot watch me throw a tantrum..." on the self produced 'the difference1' one could get a great feel for the playful flow of words delivered with great precision which is prevalent throughout this entire mixtape. All around great listen.
