HIdden Gems Emerge From Winston Duke’s Hometown In Tobago With Entrancing Reggae Release By Artists, Neepz And Kabasi

Los Angeles, CA — Down at the furthermost point of the Caribbean, you will find enchanting islands with crystal-blue waters and a trove of hidden gems. Trinidad & Tobago may be known for its annual Carnival festivities accompanied by high-energy Soca and Calypso music, but there’s also an unexplored treasure of other genres such as Reggae. In the tradition of their native home, Neepz and Kabasi, came together to create a song that exudes joy while celebrating life through Reggae music. The new single, “Soul Steady Rock,” is a special project recorded through the strength and positive vibes found within oneself while battling life-changing events.

The song itself went on a world tour in its creation, starting in France with Erbe Riddim Productions, it then appeared in Tobago and Los Angeles, CA simultaneously where Kabasi and Neepz crafted its enchanting lyrics, from there it traveled to Stone Tower Studios in Tobago where it was recorded and mixed, and then it made a stop-over in London for mastering with Evenden, before finally docking in Los Angeles with 1440 Entertainment, LLC, where it will then travel to many ears far and wide for years to come. “Soul Steady Rock” is a jovial new-era Reggae Rockers tune that will make you want to dance. It will be streaming on all major platforms starting September 30, 2022.

“Having positive and talented minds bond together and support each other is a very special thing. It’s something you can hear within the vibrations of their creation. We are enthused and honored to be able to work with both, Kabasi and Neepz, and be a part of the “Soul Steady Rock” release.” said Sam Bryar, CEO of 1440 Entertainment. Neepz said, “I wanted to write a song to uplift someone’s spirit and felt this was a message and a tune that all people need right now.”

Both Neepz and Kabasi, are currently working on solo EPs to be released in 2023 and will be appearing on Soca riddims playing through Carnival season. They’re versatile artists, each determined not to be boxed into a specific genre because they have a love and affinity for many types of music from Dancehall and Reggae to Hip Hop to Pop. They have tasty morsels of music currently simmering in a peppery Caribbean sauce to bring a delightful burst of flavor in the near future.

“Love is all we got to give ~ Life is all we got to live ~ That’s the human consciousness ~ Feel it down in your soul and let it flow ~ Soul Steady Rock…” -Neepz

Free up your mind and free up your soul ~ And let the music take control, aye ~ When music hits you and run through your veins ~ You step into another world, yeah ~ Just keep on dancing…” -Kabasi

The song will be available on Apple, iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, YouTube Music, Soundcloud, and more, beginning Friday, September 30, 2022.
