Profile Information

Bio:
Rarely in life do we find multi talented artist who produce, write, arrange and perform their own original music. Khalid An An- nur is one of those special people and he has been called the next super star, to brighten your life with his blend of everlasting musical light.

Khalid has several years of experience in the entertainment industry, getting his first big break producing his own company, which he financed, produced, wrote, and hosted at age seventeen which was the Atlanta Classic underground Hip Hop Show, Ruff Cuts. The following year in 1991, he became the first A&R for Noontime Records, the production company that manages the multi- platinum hit maker Jazzy Phae.

While hanging out in the studio, Khalid started making beats for local rappers Phillthy Phill, Armani DePaul, and as a self taught bass player/pianist formed a band, Hue Roots. He enhanced his skills when he studied Piano Audio Engineering at Contra Costa College, mixing music theory with technology and innovating new melodic digital grooves.

In 2004 he launched his own company, An-nur Muisq Publishing, a pool of song writers and producers, who collaborate to provide quality music for artists looking for the type of fresh new sounds record companies want. Currently, Khalid is Music Director for Side show Radio on KPFA Radio working with legendary bay Area Hip Hop D.J. Davy D. In addition, he recently wrote and produces music for Nicole Pearson, the soulful songstress who appeared on American Idol, assisting her with artist development and industry insight.

It is "strictly business” when this seasoned professional pin points the perfect production for every artistic project. From songs, movies scores, plays, video games, digital cyber marketing Khalid An- nur’s talents cover the entire musical spectrum making him the “One Man, One Stop Shop” for business and creativity.
