Bay area dance company wants to get their audience tipsy.

BodiGram is up to their crazy antics again. Friday December 14th and Saturday December 15th at 8pm in the Garage's new location 715 Bryant St, the dynamic duo of Julia Graham and Blair Bodie presents D.R.U.N.K.S, Dangerous Rebels Uncovering Nonsensical Knowledge Satirically. It will be a lively evening of boot scooting, gun slinging, and cocktail making mixed in with some modern dance and various other theatrical happenings. We will tip our hats to you, pour you a few drinks, cut a little rug, and without a doubt make you laugh. So leave your keys at home, and join us for an absolutely intoxicating performance. Tickets are sliding scale$10- $20, and soon to be available at brownpapertickets.com. For more information visit 715bryant.org or Bodigram.com.
BodiGram Dance Company is the collision of the choreographic ideas of Blair Bodie and Julia Graham.  Bodigram originally set out to make serious dance pieces based in a shared interest in Asian philosophy and movement traditions as well as improvisation and somatic awareness. Somewhere along the way Blair and Julia got lost and started creating dance theatre that just brings the fun and frivolity of their social life to stage. The Audience benefits from quite a few hearty laughs, and with D.R.U.N.K.S a few free drinks.
BodiGram's first performance as a company debuted in April of 2008;however, the work of Julia and Blair has been seen in America and Southeast Asia at Dance New Amsterdam (NYC), Joyce Soho(NYC), Collective Unconscious (NYC), Hatch (NYC), The Kaye Theater (NYC), Boulder Fringe (CO), Philadelphia Fringe (PA), Fire House Theater (VA), SomArts (SF), CounterPulse (SF), Intersection for the Arts (SF), Dancing in the Park (SF), The Dance City (Kuala Lumpur), DA Theater (Kuala Lumpur), and Stadium at Bukit Jalil, as well the Garage (SF) where they currently have a residency.YEEEEHAAWWW!

Tynisha Keli - "Standing On It" (Prod by James Artissen & Ronell Sessoms)

“Standing On It” by Tynisha Keli is a bold, grown-woman anthem about self-worth, resilience, and standing ten toes down on everything you’ve worked for. Smooth R&B melodies glide over a confident, soulful production as Tynisha delivers honest lyrics rooted in experience, strength, and evolution. The song captures a moment of clarity—where excuses are gone, boundaries…See More
