Pontiac, Michigan Raland Scruggs a.k.a. “The Anonymous”, Hu-Izzy, Boy Wonda, OneBeLo, Mr. Hide, Chemosabi, Lofat, SnakeEyes, OneManArmy, and General SUBliminal (all characters from the forthcoming OneManArmy comic book series) has been writing rhymes since ’88, rockin’ mics since ’92. OMA was in a few different groups up until 1994 where he would spend the next few years of his life incarcerated. During this time, he studied business, the music industry and sharpened his skills. Along with Senim Silla, OMA formed the group that would come to be known as Binary Star. Upon release in ’97, the next two years were spent recording, performing, and using what knowledge and resources they had to release their own 12” and CD’s. This producer/MC created a buzz in the underground hip-hop scene gaining respect and attention worldwide through enormous stage presence, and songs like “Glen Close” (on Binary Star's “New Hip Hop” EP released in ’98). Not just an MC, OMA also produced gems that would become Underground “classics” like “Reality Check”, and the “KGB” (from Binary Star’s “Masters of the Universe” album that he also arranged and mixed). Now, its time for “the Anonymous” to show his solo skills. He started the Trackezoids and Subterraneous Records in January 2000. This OneManArmy mode brings us to the present day where his solo album titled “L.I.F.E.”(Lo Is For Everybody) along with his presence on the WaterWorld Too LP is ready to impact the world in the same fashion Binary Star did, with music from the soul. OneManArmy has also recorded with other groups such as AML, S.U.N., Frontline (Chicago), the Planets (UK), appears on the Break-Bread.com mix compilation, and continues to do shows regularly throughout the midwest.
