Music Played: Hip Hop, Dancehall, R&B, Funk, Breaks DJ Devro is soon to be a household name. Having recently formed the Demolition Men with partner, DJ Impereal, he is out to make some noise in the Bay Area and worldwide. Not only is he talented on the turntables, he is paving new ground in the field of production with his production crew, Sureshot Militia, which includes DJ Presyce and Chicago Legend, Doug Infinite. Devro started his career back in 1995 in Oxnard, Ca. He and another local DJ started off spinning at house parties and local functions. As their reputation grew, they were offered gigs at high schools and eventually their own night at a popular club in Los Angeles called The Charcoal Lounge. Having excelled in the club scene, Devro decided to move on to the battle scene. He moved to the Bay Area where he received high placements in many local battles and was featured in the now defunct Blaze Magazine. Always expanding himself, Devro took up music production and eventually created enough noise to garner the respect and mentorship of former Common Sense producer, Doug Infinite. Devro has since been very involved in the club scene here in the Bay and has even received the opportunity to travel abroad and DJ clubs in Japan and across the US. He has also been on tour with Arrested Development across the west coast and has traveled the USA on a 30 date “Traditional Rap Tour” with Camp Lo. Devro and his crew, The Demolition Men , have been releasing mix tapes successfully with release parties in NY, LA, and SF. These mix tapes feature exclusive remixes, freestyles, songs, and even guest hosts from many of today’s hottest Rappers. Devro’s goal is to become a successful and respected producer, Mix tape, and Club DJ. If his past accomplishments are any inclination into the future, he should get here in no time. DJDevro@aol.com
