Aceyalone is the greatest mc that ever lived. When N.W.A. was creating what would later become "gangsta rap", Aceyalone and a few friends formed Freestyle Fellowship. This group became the very essence of the West’s underground, innovating various styles and utilizing concepts that today’s mc still tries to figure out. After two glorious albums, To Whom It May Concern and Inner City Griots, the group split ways. However, Aceyalone continued to record, and reached listeners with All Balls Don’t Bounce. He eventually pooled the talent of many West mc’s and formed the highly influential Project Blowed. The classic Project Blowed compilation followed, becoming one of the most sought after pieces of music in underground hip-hop. Nevertheless, it would not be until his latest effort, A Book of Human Language that Aceyalone’s greatest heights would be achieved. A masterpiece in every sense of the word, Acey poured his entire heart and soul into one of the most awe-inspiring albums ever made.
