Funk Flex Announces His 'Last Show' on Hot 97: 'End of an Era' (UPDATE)

It turns out Funkmaster Flex won’t be leaving Hot 97 after all.

Sources with direct knowledge of the situation told TMZ that the legendary radio DJ will be moving up to the 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. after the Labor Day holiday. As previously noted, his final shift at the 7 p.m. to midnight slot will be on Sept. 1.

The outlet also reports that Nessa Nitty, whose husband is Colin Kaepernick, will move to 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the morning show, Ebro in the Morning, will slide over to 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

DJ Enuff and DJ Camilo, who hosted afternoon drive blocks per Hot 97’s websites, have reportedly been released as free agents.
