Yasiin Bey Will Celebrate the 20-Year Anniversary of 'Black on Both Sides' By Performing the Album in its Entirety

October 12th is the 20 year anniversary of one of the greatest rap albums of all time: Yasiin Bey’s Black on Both Sides. To celebrate that album — still considered to be his best — Bey will be performing Black on Both Sides in its entirety.
The Black on Both Sides anniversary concert will go down on November 3 at Brooklyn Steel. Opening up for Bey will be legendary rap dup Camp Lo. Black on Both Sides features appearances from Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, and more. We imagine Bey will have some guests pull up for the show.
