HBO has released the first trailer for Leaving Neverland, the upcoming documentary centered around two men who claim that Michael Jackson sexually abused them when they were children.
The trailer features footage of the two men talking about their experience with Jackson, as well as old photos and footage of MJ interacting with the children. The highly talked about movie made it’s debut at the Sundance Film Festival last month. Upon the premiere, the Jackson Estate blasted the doc, calling it “sensationalized.
The director of the movie, Dan Reed, responded by saying the movie is about “an account of sexual abuse, how sexual abuse happens, and then how the consequences play out later in life.”
Leaving Neverland will air over two night, on March 3 and 4, on HBO. Watch the first trailer below.
