What happens when two of hip hop’s most notable producers link up?
Well, New York’s Salaam Remi and Los Angeles’ Terrace Martin connected for the collaborative project Northside of Linden, Westside of Slauson. The pair have now released an accompanying short film, “A Day in Queens.”
Throughout the short, Salaam and Terrace take a tour of Queens, NY, which includes stops at both the A Tribe Called Quest Mural and Jam Master Jay Mural, as well as Salaam’s childhood home. “You would see LL Cool J or Run on a normal day,” Remi says.
The pair are also working on a follow-up to Northside as well. Watch below.
