Watch Gary Clark Jr.'s Scorching 'Saturday Night Live' Debut

The Texas bluesman takes a stand in Studio 8H
Last night, Gary Clark Jr. was the musical guest for the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.

Hosted by Don Cheadle and dotted with subliminals throughout (Cheadle donning a USSR hockey jersey with “Trump” and the number “45” across its back for the curtain call,) Clark took the stage to perform a pair of singles from his forthcoming album This Land. His first outing featured a performance of the slow-burn blues ballad, “Pearl Cadillac,” closing out the night with a searing rendition of the new album’s lead single and title track.
