As they continue to celebrate the silver anniversary of Nas’ debut album Illmatic, Mass Appeal unveils another installment of their commemorative series.
This time, Nas’ younger brother Jungle speaks on the elder Jones’ thought process heading into the release of Illmatic. “He really just wanted it to be dope,” Jungle recalls. “He was really nervous about putting out some wack sh*t.”
