The Alchemist Drops Two-Part, 47-Song Project Featuring Prodigy, Roc Marciano & More

One of the underground’s most critically-acclaimed beatsmiths has just released some fresh new products. On Monday, The Alchemist announced a new project, The Good Book, Pt. 1 and 2. The first disk is titled “Joyful Noise,” the second “God’s Work.” Both projects are available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp.

Joyful Noise is largely instrumental. However, the featured guest spots are bonafide underground A-listers. Action Bronson, Domo Genesis, and Blue appear on “The G Code.” Six tracks later, the late Prodigy and Roc Marciano appear on “In Heaven’s Home.”

God’s Work is a bit more feature-heavy. Royce Da 5’9 appears on “Pray For You,” while Griselda Records’ Westside Gunn and Conway appear on “A Thousand Birds.” Meyhem Lauren, Your Old Droog, Durag Dynasty, and Big Twins also make appearances. Additionally, the project features a Mobb Deep record, “Try My Hand,” for diehard fans.

Sparoh is an Atlanta-based artist creating music at the crossroads of melodic trap, alternative pop, and punk-fueled rebellion.
