Last night, D'Angelo took to the Verzuz platform, but it wasn't to battle anyone, as the R&B singer hosted a "competition-free" event, which went off with no drama

After the show, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland jumped on Instagram Live to discuss the night and tease what would be next for the Verzuz platform.

In the video, Timbo and Swizz announced that Raekwon would be battling Ghostface Killah, and they played clips of Raekwon’s “Incarcerated Scarfaces” and “Verbal Intercourse” as well as Ghostface’s “Run.”

While there is no date for the battle, Raekwon and Ghostface will now be the third and fourth members of the Wu-Tang Clan to participate in a Verzuz.

RZA battled DJ Premier last April and Method Man joined D’Angelo last night to perform “Left & Right” and “Breakups 2 Makeups” with him.
