As you may or may not know, Pharoahe Monch is back in business with a new side project called th1rt3en with legendary drummer Daru Jones and acclaimed guitarist Marcus Machado (and our guy Parks). And on Friday, they’ll be releasing a new album, A Magnificent Day For An Exorcism.
Kicking things off on “Fight” with Cypress Hill and “666 (Three, Six Word Stories)” at the tail end of 2020, the crew prepares us for the album with the release of their latest single, “Cult 45.” Produced by Nottz, the sinister track finds Monch kicking lines like, “Lactose intolerant at birth, I was never fazed by the race for chasing American cheese in the maze,” and “Nauseating, I’m angry, Bill Bixby, Exorcist! make the Presidents head 360.”
