EarthGang half Olu (aka, Johnny Venus) is known to flex his vocal chops every now and then, as evidenced throughout their MirrorLand album. He recently shared a cover of Marvin Gaye‘s classic “What’s Going On.”

Dedicating the cover to his late father, Olu also penned an op-ed for DJBooth. “This cover is my gift to my father and anyone separated from loved ones, or feeling low or apathetic about the current state of our world,” he wrote. “Y’all keep your heads high and your spirits higher. We will get through this and love more and more on the other side.”
