It’s been over 12 years since the “Godfather of Soul,” “Mr. Dynamite,” James Brown passed away. On Christmas morning, 2006, it was reported that the “hardest working man in show business,” died of natural causes due to congestive heart failure. In true James Brown fashion, his death was controversial, to say the least. There have been family battles over his will and his estate are well documented. But now even more controversy has emerged surrounding the death of James Brown. New reports have come to surface that James Brown may have been murdered.
The investigation began in 2017 after circus singer Jacque Hollander called a reporter claiming to have information about Brown’s death. She claimed, “He’s not dead. Even with him dead — even with him dead, in that cement crypt, look at the power of his name. … He might as well be alive. What’s the difference? This is the empire he ran when he was alive. … They run it the same way. Mob, control, fear, intimidation, lies. What’s the difference? He’s still alive, as far as I’m concerned.”
