Mic Familiar is a hip hop artist & producer based out of New Jersey. His initial basement recordings, edgy poems, and freeverse over industry beats evolved into the craft you see today. Eventually his journey would lead him to Brooklyn, his birth place (a place he was separated from as a child). His bars are inspired by his struggle to be a whole person and his place within the absurdity of life. With his craft he offers himself as a voice/kindred spirit those who wish to engage. “Each song represents the many jumbled voices, core beliefs and distortions that desire a form to be used.” -Mic Familiar “Lost To Water” is a song about racing mind and a guilt-ridden soul within a space defined.
