Lizzo Connects with Missy Elliott for New Single "Tempo"

Lizzo has released the latest single from her upcoming Atlantic debut Cuz I Love You. The song is called “Tempo” and features legendary rapper Missy Elliott.

It’s a song that Lizzo has been teasing for weeks now. Back in February, Lizzo appeared on Travis Mills Apple Music’s Beats 1 show and revealed that when she heard “Tempo” she knew that she wanted Missy for the song. She said:

"I was like, I hope she blesses me with a verse. Like, you never know, you send it to your idols, you never know if they gonna send it back."
