Lizzo Brought Out the Flute for Her Tiny Desk Performance

Lizzo performed three songs from her Cuz I Love You album.
Back in May, Lizzo conducted a pretty lengthy interview with Terry Gross for Fresh Air. While at the NPR offices, she stopped by NPR’s Tiny Desk.
Backed by a band, she performed three songs from her latest album, Cuz I Love You: the catchy title track, “Truth Hurts” — the biggest hit of her career, so far — and “Juice,” the album’s lead single. There were no backup dancers during the performance, which was OK because Lizzo brought all the energy.
She capped off her Tiny Desk appearance by taking out her famous flute and playing a couple of notes during the end of her “Juice” performance.
