Key Latrice is a soulful R&B singer and songwriter from the Eastside of Fort Worth, TX. As a teen, Key wanted to be a famous singer like Alicia Keys. In addition to singing, she discovered a great passion for rapping. Despite her age, Key can spit bars with the best of them. Most of her fans are not sure if Key is a better rapper or singer because of her extraordinary voice and lyrical abilities. Some would say she is the Lauryn Hill of this generation.
As a proud mother of two boys, Key Latrice uses music to deal with the challenges that naturally arise in relationships with family and friends. Key makes you feel her joy, disappointment, pain, and anger, but also the hope she has for tomorrow. Audiences are drawn in and instantly become fans during her live performances because of her ability to command the audience's attention
Given the title, "Sorry Not Sorry", the EP provides a glimpse into the world of singer/rapper/songwriter Key Latrice. The tracks follow the challenges that come with friendships, relationships, and self-evaluation. The artist masterfully created the tracklist to mimic the order in which events took place in her life.
She begins by acknowledging her absence in the music scene since the separation from her former management team. The following tracks showcase her talent - proving why she is well-respected within the urban music scene in Fort Worth, TX. Within this EP, Key is not only bringing you an old school vs new school vibe, but also a smooth and soulful R&B sound.
