Sacramento rapper “JKOOMDAI” (pronounced Koom-day) formally known as Jo Vegas, created his own lane in 2010 with his charismatic personality combined with dynamic melodies, layered with inspired sounds of both past and present. As a result of this influence, he began to create notable musical experiences. J is often compared to artists as diverse as Kanye West, 36 mafia and Ghostface Killa.

After his first EP Release ID.1, JKOOMDAI moved to the Bay Area to redefine his goals and what he was looking to contribute to the music sphere. After months of visiting different regional preserves in his new hometown, J found himself learning about self-preservation, his personal spiritual energy, and symbolism. Months of sifting through these newfound beliefs, J came to create a whole new sound that has kept him growing as an artist and redeveloping his signature sound. In 2019 JKOOMDAI finished a year-long tour with underground Bay Area legend, Andre Nickatina, and quickly gained accolades from the community.

His most recent release “JKOOMDAI”, was his first experimental EP with stunning cohesive production from six different producers across five countries. The project is an example of his sonic vision marking a huge step forward for the artist whose sound is becoming increasingly personal and distinctively refined one release at a time.

JKOOMDAI pronounced (Koom-Day) is set to release his next single off his EP on October 22nd titled Stepper. Gritty self-made artist, JKOOMDAI, is getting ready to kick off hunting season with this voracious track after purveying the current land of the industry. Reclaiming his energy and claiming his stake in the scene he is armed and aiming high.
