On Thursday (Oct. 15), a snippet from a chat room conversation on Clubhouse between radio personality Big Tigger and Ice Cube appeared on Twitter, where the two discussed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and Donald Trump. During the conversation, Cube clarified that he does not support Trump, but that his efforts to work with the Republican party are to help Black people.
"To me, they the same people, one of them is just more polished than the other. They both White men from the 50s," the rapper began. As the clip continues, Cube goes on to explain how the $500 billion dollars that have been promised to the Black community by Republicans outweighs the $150 billion offered by Democrats.
Ice Cube appears to have responded to claims that he has assisted the Trump administration. After President Trump's Senior Advisor Katrina Pierson revealed that the rapper was working with the administration yesterday, now he's confirmed that he spoke with the Trump campaign regarding the Contract With Black America program.
"Facts: I put out the CWBA," he tweeted this afternoon. "Both parties contacted me. Dems said we’ll address the CWBA after the election. Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking to us about the CWBA."
