Fab 5 Freddy has worn many hats in Hip-Hop, in front of and behind the camera. The legendary host, director, producer, historian, and artist has been involved with Wild Style, Yo! MTV Raps, New Jack City, and a host of music videos.
Fred Brathwaite’s next project explores the modern history of marijuana in the United States. Grass Is Greener includes interviews with Snoop Dogg, Killer Mike, B-Real, Chuck D, Sen Dog, Doug E. Fresh, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, among others. The documentary is premiering on Netflix April 20. In a private trailer, Fab 5 reveals that he has been an advocate in favor of cannabis for years. He narrates and directs the documentary.
