#DXCLUSIVE: DJ Nykon Slaps Some 808s On DJ Shadow & Run The Jewels' "Nobody Speak"

DJ Nykon has put in years of work touring with acts such as Living Legends, 2 Mex, Illmac and Sapient and now, he’s ready to take center stage and explore the solo route.
As the Portland-based beatmaster inches closer to dropping his new EP, Flipadelphia Vol. 1, he’s dropped off a sliver of the album in the form of a DJ Shadow remix. With the help of some classic 808s, Nykon has transformed “Nobody Speak,” from 2016’s The Mountain Will Fall into a bass-heavy, ’90s-flavored bop.
