Broadway The Lyricist is a Tampa, Florida-based solo artist from the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York, with a wide range of influences from the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Black Thought, Nipsey Hussle, and Drake. His music features thought-provoking bars, while concentrating on the overall importance of good songwriting. Broadway focuses on making intimate and honest music that people can connect with personally. It’s a formula that has led to previous collaborations with East New York, Brooklyn Hip Hop veterans, like Domingo, who has produced records for Three 6 Mafia, Amy Winehouse, Big Punisher, Rakim, Eminem, and many more. Broadway’s previous buzz also caught the attention of Wilt Wallace, the current VP of Urban & Rhythm Promotion at Warner Music. His most recent accomplishment to date, came when he got the opportunity to play his music, and perform for one of his biggest influences, Jadakiss, of the legendary Hip-Hop trio, The Lox. Broadway not only got a co-sign from Jada, but exchanged information for a possible collaboration with him. This took place at the ‘Pass The Aux’ networking event in Tampa, Florida, following Jadakiss’s masterful performance in the Verzuz battle against The Diplomats. The event also included some of the biggest artists, DJ’s, influencers, and creatives in the Tampa music scene. Ultimately, Broadway’s goal is to make music about his life and his experiences, while continuing to become the best version of himself every day.
