Earlier this month, the hip hop world lost Bushwick Bill to cancer. While his fans, friends and family continue to support the fallen rapper in their own way, a news station in Atlanta paid tribute in their own unique qay.
Similar to their salutes to Rakim, Prodigy, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac and Phife Dawg, WSB-TV anchors Mark Arum and Fred Blankenship used their traffic report to memorialize Bill, incorporating lyrics from “Mind Playing Tricks On Me,” “Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta,” “Little Big Man,” “Copper to Cash” and “Ever So Clear” throughout their report.
