Bun B appeared at the first guest on the premiere episode of “People’s Party With Talib Kweli” this week and the rap legends talked about another rap legend: The Notorious B.I.G.

On Kweli’s new weekly interview show exploring hip-hop, culture, and politics, Bun goes on to talk about surviving the recent home invasion, his rap influences, growing up in Texas, the evolution of UGK, and Pimp C appearing on the Menace II Society soundtrack. But both rappers swap stories about smoking with Biggie Smalls.

Bun says he and Pimp C were once at the BMG offices in New York City during the mid-90s when they met Biggie.
