 riters/readers:  Luis Jaramillo is the author of The Doctor’s Wife, 
 winner of the Dzanc Books Short Story Collection Contest, an Oprah Boo
 k of the Week, and one of NPR’s Best Books of 2012. Luis’s work ha
 s also appeared in Open City, Gamers (Soft Skull Press), Tin House Mag
 azine, H.O.W. Journal, and Red Line Blues. He is the Associate Chair o
 f the Writing Program at the New School, where he oversees the undergr
 aduate curriculum and the Riggio Honors Program: Writing & Democracy, 
 teaches courses in fiction and nonfiction, and is co-editor of the jou
 rnal The Inquisitive Eater: New School Food. He has led workshops on y
 oga and writing at the New School Summer Writers Colony, NYU Paris, an
 d the Laughing Lotus Yoga Studios in Manhattan and San Francisco.  Jen
 ny Davidson's latest book is The Magic Circle. Her other books include
  Heredity, and two young-adult novels, The Explosionist and Invisible 
 Things. She also wrote two works of nonfiction: Hypocrisy and the Poli
 tics of Politeness: Manners and Morals from Locke to Austen and Breedi
 ng: A Partial History of the Eighteenth Century. She teaches in the De
 partment of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.
    Arisa White is a Cave Canem fellow, an MFA graduate from the Univer
 sity of Massachusetts, Amherst, and author of the poetry chapbooks Dis
 position for Shininess and Post Pardon; she was selected by the San Fr
 ancisco Bay Guardian for the 2010 Hot Pink List. Member of the PlayGro
 und writers’ pool, her play Frigidare was staged for the 15th Annual
  Best of PlayGround Festival. Recipient of the inaugural Rose O’Neil
 l Literary House summer residency at Washington College in Maryland, A
 risa has also received residencies, fellowships, or scholarships from 
 Port Townsend Writers’ Conference, Squaw Valley Community of Writers
 , Hedgebrook, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Prague Summer Program, Fin
 e Arts Work Center, and Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Her debut co
 llection, Hurrah’s Nest, was published by Virtual Artists Collective
 ; her second collection, A Penny Saved, was released by Willow Books, 
 an imprint of Aquarius Press, in November 2012.  Marie Brennan is the 
 author of A Natural History of Dragons. Her previous books include War
 rior, Witch, Midnight Never Come, In Ashes Lie, A Star Shall Fall, Wit
 h Fate Conspire and Lies and Prophecy. Her stories have appeared in Be
 neath Ceaseless Skies, Jabberwocky, Talebones, Intergalactic Medicine 
 Show and many other places.  Molly Weatherfield, the pen name of Pam R
 osenthal, is the author of Carrie's Story, which Playboy called an \"A
 merican twist on Story of O,\" plus a sequel, Safe Word. A prolific ro
 mance and erotica writer, she has penned many sexy, literate, historic
 al novels. She lives in San Francisco.  About Writers With Drinks:  Wr
