DESCRIPTION:A new Tuesday weekly Global Bass, Belly Dance and and Danc
 efloor night in SF featuring some of the Bay Area’s most eclectic DJ
 s, breaking barriers of genre and culture. Weekly Belly Dance Performa
 nces by resident and guest dancers curated by Gina Grandi. Resident DJ
 s, Guest DJs and Live Acts.\n\nWe are a collective of DJs, Dancers, Mu
 sicians and Visual Artists from various backgrounds, coming together i
 n an effort to bring an eclectic global culture to the dancefloor. Exp
 ects Out-of-the-Ordinary when you come to Underground Nomads. Expect s
 omething different every time. Expect Underground – a place away fro
 m the mainstream.\nUnderground Nomads came into existence as a collabo
 rative effort to revive SF’s World Music culture, bringing together 
 the vibe from Cheb i Sabbah’s legendary Tuesdays at Nickie’s, The 
 Tribal Belly Dance Thursdays and middle eastern nights (which featured
  Ultra Gypsy, DJ Sep, Soulsalaam, Jef Stott and more) and Jose Ruis’
  World Music Fridays at El Rio, Belly Dance evenings at Amira and many
  more amazing regular nights that existed back in the day in SF.\nOur 
 current crew includes residents DJ Amar, DJ Sep and Dulce Vita – and
  honorary resident forever Cheb i Sabbah, who started the night with u
 s and inspired us all musically. We aim to keep his music and energy a
 live on the dancefloor with you.\nOn any given night, you will find ei
 ther one of our resident DJs, one of our extended family of residents 
 like Jimmy Love, Maneesh the Twister, Janaka Selekta, Jef Stott, among
  others. We have brought guests from as far as Japan (Makyo) and Austr
 ia (Dunkelbunt). As we grow, our roster of musical guests will grow wi
 th us.\nWe begin the nights with an hour of music, followed by dance p
 erformances and open dancing to late into the night. Performers will b
 e announced each week on the Facebook page and at www.undergroundno
 mads.com \n\n1192 Folsom San Francisco, CA\n\n\n9pm start time, $5 Co
 ver, 21+ 2-for-1 entry before 11pm, if you ask. *Come early so you don
