One of New Zealand's most in-demand exports, modern soul outfit ELECTRIC WIRE HUSTLE are set to make their most welcome return to LA at the Bootleg HiFi and also triumphantly to your heavy rotation "New Releases" crate.
The If These Are The Last Days EP coming out imminently on June 2nd on Okayplayer and providing a seriously tasty preview of what's to come, features two stellar album cuts, along with @eliphino and RBMA grad @flako on remix duties.
We are happy to premiere Flako's rework of "Bottom Line" here via Red Bull Music Academy which finds the London resident in fine form, swapping in pensively glacial key sounds for the original's resolute piano.
Following up on their acclaimed debut, EWH's new album "Love Can Prevail" will see the light of day via @okayplayer and @somethinksounds on September 8th - well worth the wait for sure whislt the EP jumps into steady rotation !
With their debut self-titled album Electric Wire Hustle achieved immediate cult status, a number one song on Hype Machine, five-star reviews from the likes of Okayplayer, and BBC Radio support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Benji B and visually every worldwide DJ.
Demand for their live show has seen EWH perform in 14 countries, appearing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Dour, Sonar, Sziget, SXSW, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide and New York’s CMJ and now at last EWH return to LA for a sneak preview full live show of all the goodness that's to come !
Please Join us in welcoming back the mighty ELECTRIC WIRE HUSTLE to theLIFT 'LIVE'
