  he is one of the founding fathers of the modern party rocking dj styl

  few DJs in the world that has appeared on the three major late night 
 talk shows, including David Letterman, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. A
 s a founding member of the ground breaking DJ crew Invsibl Skratch Pik
 lz (originally named Rock Steady DJ’s along with Mix Master Mike & Q
 bert) he went on to become both USA DMC and World DMC Champion literal
 ly bringing whole new techniques to the genre. Apollo was inducted int
 o the DMC DJ Hall of Fame (1999), the International Turntablist Federa
 tion (ITF) Grand Wizard Theodore Award (2000), and the Hip Hop Slam Ha
 ll of Fame Award (2002) presented by Billy Jam.\nIn October 2014, Apol
