SMOOVE was founded by WISDOM aka PAPI CHOCOLATE aka WINNIE B the very first night Luka's opened its doors eight sweet years ago.
It was created to bring the same vibe to Oakland that WISDOM had brought to so many clubs (putting many of them on the map) in SF including DECO, STORYVILLE, MADRONE, SOLUNA and ASIA SF.
WISDOM and JAMO were the RESIDENT DEEJAYS who, alongside top rotating BAY DEEJAYS, literally sparked the night life of Uptown Oakland!
Now we begin another year among the hustle and bustle of new bars, restaurants and lounges, making Oakland THE Bay Area destination for good food, the best deejays and dope parties.... Celebrating Oakland's growth, we continue to offer a party for those who remember the family we all became a part of during the 90's...
