Event Description

On Friday, June 17th 2011, 103 Harriet and Blasthaus join forces to bring you the party you’ve been waiting for!

RJD2 jets to town for this exclusive engagement for the first time in years to do a live 4 turntable set, playing originals, classics, new unreleased exclusives and his signature tastemaker selection of party rocking funk, soul, rare groove, and body moving hip hop.

Joining him on this huge night is none other than Bay Area legends and superstars ZION I, Zumbi Zoom and Amp Live.

Opening up for this powerhouse of talent is the best DJ in town- GOLDENCHYLD. He is the 2011 winner of the San Francisco Redbull 3style Dj battle and fought against the best DJ’s in town to win the number one slot.

Rounding out the evening will be underground hero and vinyl aficionado E DA BOSS, doing what he does best- killing dancefloors and expanding minds with 45s, vinyl, and his own unreleased dubplates.

It continues as we have a slamming front room hosted by none other than AFROLICIOUS, the dj duo that brings you the sold out Thursday night at the elbow room.

They will be playing live with Izzy Wize and a slew of live percussionists and MC’s all night long… Lastly don’t forget DJ Teeko of the 4 1 Funktion crew, who was recently featured on the Mark Ronson album.
