Event Description
A beat battle in which producers sample psychedelic rock tracks and flip/remix into beats head to head. The tracks to sample are hand picked by the West Coast’s foremost record collectors and Dj’s (from SF’S own monthly psych rock party AFREAKA!) Deejay Om (Galapagos4/Heardrums) and DJ MAKossa (Funky Rewind) who will both be doing psych rock sets as well as judging the battle. Also special guest DJ Axis spinning heavy psych funk and rock.
Sets start at 9:30pm and battle to follow!!! But wait!!! It’s also (as usual) a canned food drive for Glide Memorial Foodbank as well as Pd/phillipdrummond’s B-Day Jam!!!
