Event Description

RES LIVE @ PST!!!

Philly/Brooklyn soul diva RES busted onto the scene in 2001 on her debut LP, "How I Do" which featured underground hits like "Ice King" (featuring Nas), "Golden Boys" and "They Say Vision."
Having contributed vocals to standout hip-hop tracks (Reflection Eternal's "Too Late" for one) and formed like voltron with BK Emcee Talib Kweli to form rock-soul supergroup Idle Warship in 2007 and immediately popped off with the pro-Obama track, "Fall Back" (directed at Hilary Clinton). Res is prepping her sophomore LP, which builds on her ahead-of-the-curve fusion of rock and soul.
Res makes a rare live performance and will be rocking some of her memorable tracks as well as new songs -- some of which will be heard first at PST!!

DJ Sake One rocks the spot all night on the turntables, along with Ankh Marketing and Local 1200 crews on deck, and Fran Boogie holding you down on vibes. PST is hands-down the best party in the Bay Area!!!
