Event Description

This month Non Stop Bhangra Returns with installment #111 doing a British Invasion Theme! The UK's impact on Bhangra is unparalleled to any other place outside of India. It has helped spring board the punjabi sound into the West and has been quintessential for North America's love to the culture of Punjab and one of the reasons events such as Non Stop Bhangra exist.

So Non Stop Bhangra is excited to host one of their favorite personalities in South Asian Music scene, Bobby Friction who has made a career out of representing British Asian sound on the turntables, as a recording artist and on-air with many awards to his name including "Best Radio Show" at the UK Asian Music Awards. This will be his first time at NSB and we are looking forward to having him in the mix.

As always a night unlike any other awaits to blow up your eyes and ears and take your body to those happy dancing realms! Mark your calendar, spread the word, and come get down with us!

Saturday, March 28th at Public Works in SF

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation.
