 pt to unite the veteran San Francisco house music vibes with emerging 
 sounds of modern funk, nu-disco, deep house, and moombahsoul. Imagine 
 classic Chicago Trax blended with the current Disco Boogie revival. Po
 dcasts, edits, and club nights will be curated in an effort to break t
 he boundaries in San Francisco’s dance music scene.   Jimmy Edgar is
  a Detroit-based electronic music artist, signed to K7 Records. In his
  early years he was influenced by Jazz, funk, street beat and r&b. He 
 began his musical pursuit by playing the drums in experimental bands a
 nd by making tape recordings. Most of these recordings, consisting mai
 nly of pitch bent tape loops, cut edits, field recordings, and noise t
 racks, were the beginning of his experimentation with the technical as
 pects of production. Jimmy Edgar is the self-proclaimed poster child o
 f Sound Couture.He mutually left Warp Records in 2008 due to creative 
 differences shortly after his single \"I Wanna Be Your STD\" appeared
