MIGHTY presents
April Fools w/
Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique)
Souleye & DC (BLVD)
R/D (Design Disorder)
Sidecar Tommy is adept at creating original audio for the dance floor, commercial use, movies, soundtracks for dancers, vocalists, pod casts, etc... SIDECAR TOMMY fuses electronic sounds and acoustic/natural sounds, culminating in a collage of music that hits hard with original beats..
Souleye and DC have been touring nonstop together, and with their band BLVD (http://blvdsource.com/). They have been rocking clubs from Fiji to Canada .Playing over 100 shows in the last year, these two have created a fresh new sound that incorporates new school electronica with an old school Hip Hop flavor. Souleye's conscious flow is laced with positive lyrics, incredible breath control and unique rhymes schemes. The content and diversity of his lyrics, mixed with his natural freestyle ability keeps the crowd involved and captivated. The content and diversity of Souleye's lyrics and DC's original productions offer a different feel than your typical show. Together they create a a combination you've not heard before. Soak in this positive high energy music.
RD is a Sound Designer, Music Producer, DJ and Label owner. He gained notoriety in the late 90's as the Founder of the Experimental Liquor Museum (E.L.M.); a Los Angeles based collective of DJ's that spear-headed the local experimental music scene with their renowned underground electro parties. RD has released music on 1320 Records (US), Touchino Bass (UK), Colony Productions (UK) and his own label; The Designed Disorder (US). Although he is best known for his unique brand of glitched-out electro, in recent years his sound has slowed in tempo, morphing into futuristic funk with an all-out hip-hop core, devastating sub-lines and tweaked melodies that combine to rock crowds and tickle brains.
